Mark Rothman

Mark served as Executive Director of the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, one of the oldest such institutions in the country. Mark played a critical role in all aspects of the Museum’s project to construct a new and permanent home for the Museum, including managing the building’s capital campaign.

Prior to joining the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust Mark was Holocaust Services Advocate at Los Angeles-based Bet Tzedek Legal Services, helping survivors in their struggles to obtain reparations and restitution.

Mark graduated from Columbia University and earned an M.F.A. from USC's School of Cinema-Television. He produced educational and corporate videos and documentaries. Earlier in his career he worked in Israel on a war crimes trial and interviewed dozens of survivors for USC Shoah Foundation for Visual History.

Sara Robyn

Sara Robyn has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years.  She comes to MAR Consulting from the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, where she served for over five years. Sara has broad experience in fund development strategies and execution, and communications.  Her previous experience includes positions at the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the National Council of Jewish Women, and the American Jewish Committee. Sara holds a Master's degree from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor's degree from Barnard College.  She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
